The Franklin County Board of Elections has now turned over a number of names and ballots to Prosecuting Attorney Ron O’Brien for possible prosecution.

We talked to O’Brien this morning. He declined to say exactly how many of the cases were referred to him, but said that he is looking into the situation and is deciding how best to move forward in his investigation.

Late last night, we learned that two members of Vote Today Ohio, a “Get Out The Vote” group, were able to withdraw their ballots. However, one member of that group, Tate Hausman, attempted to withdraw his vote too late.

Matt Damschroeder, a member of the Franklin County Board of Elections, confirmed this information in an email. The board already opened Hausman’s ballot and Damschroeder said Hausman cannot withdraw his vote.
